About Revelle Editorial
We're a small earned-media studio built by people who used to commission the stories. Small is the point — every brief is run by the person you actually email.
How we started
Revelle Editorial began the way most good studios do: out of frustration. Our founder spent a decade inside newsrooms and trade publications watching brilliant brands waste their best stories on press releases nobody read. Revelle was the answer — a studio that treats earned coverage as a craft, pitching editors with the same standards she once held as one of them.
Who runs it
The studio is led by Marguerite Hollis, a former features editor based in Edinburgh. Over eleven years she commissioned, edited and fact-checked across business, technology and culture desks before crossing the table to help brands earn the coverage she once assigned. Around her, a compact bench of writers, researchers and former reporters handles the angle-finding, drafting and pitching — so every story carries an editor's eye from the first line.
What we hold to
Three principles we don't bend on:
- The story earns the mention. If a piece only exists to carry a link, no respectable editor runs it. We pitch ideas a newsroom would want regardless of who's behind them.
- Right outlets, not loud ones. A trade title your buyers trust beats a viral hit they'll never see. We chase relevance and credibility, not vanity reach.
- Honest reporting. You see every pitch sent, every editor's reply and every live URL. No inflated dashboards, no coverage you can't verify.
